David Gryn over 20 years has grown and ever-strong reputation worldwide as a leading curator and promoter showing artists’ films in the context of the cinema. David has produced, curated and promoted artists’ film projects and events that have consistently excited and attracted large audiences and introduced new audiences to the arts.

Gryn has worked with many leading art galleries and institutes to promote their artists and associated projects: venues include: Art Basel Miami Beach, The Armory Show, Whitney Museum, MoMA, Gagosian Gallery, Hauser & Wirth, White Cube, Victoria Miro, Tate, Lisson Gallery, Anthony Reynolds, Zoo Art Fair, Goldsmiths University, Gavin Brown enterprise, Salon 94, Whitechapel, Sadlers Wells, Sadie Coles HQ.

Artists have included: Mark Wallinger, Susan Hiller, William Eggleston, Andy Warhol, William Kentridge, Dexter Dalwood, Michael Borremans, Nathalie Djurberg, Jesper Just, Gregory Crewdson, Laurie Simmons, Michael Nyman, Jeremy Deller, Christian Marclay, Bill Viola, Christian Jankowski, Ryan Gander, Santiago Sierra, Dara Friedman.

David is a creative strategic planner and consultant to art venues/institutes/charities to market, grow their audiences and fundraising revenues and advises corporate entities on their engagement with contemporary art. David regularly lectures to artists and students. Other projects include work for: Frieze, Aston Martin, Sotheby’s, ICA, Arts Council England, Birmingham, Tate Modern & Tate Britain, Camden Art Centre, Hampstead Theatre, EURO RSCG, Jack Daniels and various leading charities.

David is married to the painter Jane Bustin www.janebustin.com and has two sons Isaac and Jacob.
