Communion by Nina Danino is a portrait of a young girl filmed by cinematographer Billy Williams BSC, creating a silent, translucent image, which draws on the paradox between beauty as iconic, secular glamour and as religious interiority.

“Art, Cinema and the Soul” a discussion including Nina Danino (artist), Sarah Cooper (writer, lecturer), Ewan King (Minister of Heath Street Baptist Church), Gilda Williams (curator, art writer and critic). Heath Street Baptist Church, London. Tuesday 22 October, 6.30 – 8pm followed by drinks.
